Pop in Unannounced

Charles and Mortus were zooming through the garganta, nearing their destination. "As soon as we exit this place, I need you to kill all the Central 46 by using your resurreccion. Then, we'll spread out, and we'll meet back in the center when you feel my reiatsu flare. Go to where you feel his reiatsu to be substantial, then record the frequency and wait for my signal. I'll be doing the same thing; I'll notify you if I find it."

so i kill as soon as we come out of the portal?

Charles grinned. The light was coming up ahead, they were nearing their destination. "Yes, do so. It won't matter if the shinigami catch on to our reiatsu, as long as we accomplish our mission. So kill as soon as possible." THey would exit the portal and into the Central 46 compound.

''if you intend to sneak around, stay unreleased for longer then. there is a good chance i am stuck and unable to get around anywhere once the slaughter ends and the shinigami arrive, so you will likely have to record his signature yourself.'' mortus hopped out of the other end if the portal, and said.. ''die'' blasting the central 46 compound with the bone formed during his release. he would release upon sensing/seeing a shinigami approach. in the meantime he would use his projection to destroy the central 46 compound and slaughter the occupants.

While his suboordinate was slaughtering the Central 46 and the lower-rank shinigami, Charles Van Umbrus went down into Mugen, the lowest level of the compound. Here, he found Kuroken's signature and started recording it. At the same time, he used his used his sword to smash the glass case in the center of the room and grabbed the hougyouku. He grinned. That would be the deciding factor of the war. He started walking back up, hoping that Mortus had not gotten into any trouble.

Unknown to Charles Van Stupid, Genbu Kururugi the most awesome was ambushing the butthole 1st Espada. "Oh ho, there's an arrancar. BANKAI, Henkou Sekai." His sword would disappear, to be replaced by the spherical blue field that expanded outward from him. "Tatuko...." he would lift all of the swords of the central 46 and rotate them around him at high speeds. Even if the arrancar got past them, his bone ability would have to deal with his transmuting powers. If he shot any bones and they made it through the swords, he would use that ability to de-crystallize the hydroxyapatite in the bones and make them powdery.

mortus was having a grand time. then he saw a shinigami start generating a blue field. uh-oh. mortus immediately sonido'd backwards, shooting a small arc of bones right at the shinigami to force him to use the field. as soon as the bones were shot, mortus began his evil cackling and underwent his second release. he would then start growing bone mortars, as many as possible, while launching the bones from his wrists. if the shinigami did anything funny to the bones mortus first shot, mortus would make the 3 closest bones from his wrists explode just outside the shinigami, evenly spaced in a ccircle around the shinigami. regardless, the other bones he would stick into the ground around the area for later use.

Charles was still climbing up the stairs, 88 or so levels were pretty hard to get up, even with his speed. "Huff..... puff..... whew.... oh, that's bad... I'm tired"

Genbu Kururugi was not surprised when the idiot arrancar sent forth his stupid bones. he wouldn't move them, but instead let them touch him and crumble to dust and rendering their explosive compounds inert by polymerization (explosive compounds ALWAYS have a stable isomer). The other bone that he shot, Genbu would move back at the shinigami, make them blow up around him instead.

as soon as he saw the shinigami fling his bones back at him, mortus set them off, while they were still far away. mortus simlutaneously exploded the nearest three bones just outside the field, in front of the shinigami to blow up any defenses, and shot the air cannons from his hands at the shinigami, spread out to cover the area the shinigami might sonido to, the remainder pointed at the shinigami captain. meanwhile the bone mortars were at their second stage.

Charles had reached the 35th level, and still going strong. "Haha, a good workout." Suddenly, he heard an explosion upstairs. "Oh no! If Mortus if fighting someone, this could go horribly wrong!"

In the smoke before the arrancar sent out the shockwaves, Genbu smiled. "Bakudo #73: Tozanshou!" An inverted blue pyramid formed around him, creating an effective shield. The shockwaves, being immensely powerful, would merely destroy the barrier, but not hurt Genbu. He sent 16 of the swords to attach the arrancar. 2 to the neck, 2 at the head, 1 for each limb, and 8 for the torso. Unless the arrancar was able to block all attacks around him, he would be hurt.

mortus heard the shinigami shout. thinking he was going to attack, he sonido'd sideways, still facing the shinigami, forming a shield to block whatever attack the shinigami sent at him. mortus would then shoot a vacuum cut using his tail, at the shinigami

Charles had just finished zipping up the 23rd floor. He was worried that they had gotten into a little more than they would have liked.

Hearing the Sonido, the shinigami would grin even wider. The ground itself leapt up in a narrow parabolic wall to block the vacuum slice. "You can't beat Genbu Kururugi, captain of the 12th division. My movement manipulation and transmutation powers can defeat your bone and pressure waves any time. I am the pinnacle of scientific and tactical knowledge." While he was speaking, he created an enourmous maze formedfrom the ground and trapped them inside. Only Genbu knew the way out, and this would isolate him from the arrancar. He then said "Bakudo #77: Tenteikura!" Black marks appeared on his arm, then faded. Across the seiretei, the captains heard his voice. "Attention all Captains, this is captain Kururugi. At least two arrancar have invaded soul society, and their objective is unknown. If you can spare the effort, please report to the Central 46 compound. I have one trapped, and the other's location is unknown." The labyrinth walls would extend up to the ceiling, giving no room to jump over.

as soon as the shinigami began to talk, mortus sonido'd right at the shinigami, pulling out his zanpakuto, shooting the bones formed from the sonido right at the shinigami. at the same time, the bone mortars would finish, and he would shoot them, too, at the shinigami, he would explode them right before the shinigami would be hit, if the shinigami moved the bones they would still explode nearest the shinigami. mortus also launched vacuum cuts from his legs. and if near enough to the shinigami would begin his spinning tornado attack.

[lol, you made a mistake. He said he formed the maze as he started to speak, so you just hit the walls. Now, you have to idea of his location, so most of your post is void. The only thing you do is shoot at the walls and blow one of them up.]

Charles made it to the 8th floor. He was almost there, but something was wacky up above.... he could feel the Hougyouku speaking to him, telling him to be careful.

[Also, your sword disappears when you release your ressurreccion, so that part is void as well]

Genbu heard explosions and reshaped the maze, making it harder for the arrancar to escape. Now, this would be interesting to see what he would do. Genbu backed off into a side corridor and waited. Hopefully, nothing would come out of the stairwell anytime soon.

mortus cursed as the walls came up. he used pesquisa to sense the shinigami's location, then fired all the shots of his air cannon in that direction, followed by lumps of bone he launched himself, exploding them too. finally, he himself would start smashing the walls, following up the other attacks. he realized charles and genbu were about to collide, having seen the direction the shinigami was headed as the maze was forming. ''don't move, jerk, i'm gonna rip you a new one. hey, lackey, use pesquisa so you can avoid me lol. i'm gonna punch you right out, shinigami, right down that stairwell, and i hope it hurts!!!'' the latter comment aimed at charles who would hopefully realize what mortus meant.

Charles leapt up out of the stairwell, firing a massive cero at Genbu, who would probably be prepare. Because the cero was not made out of matter, Genbu could neither transmute nor manipulate it. The most he could do was sacrifice those floating swords to decrease the damage. "Mortus, we have what we need, we have to leave before reinforcements arrive. I sensed that he used Tenteikura, which means that the main force of Soul Society will arrive in a matter of seconds." He opened a garganta. "Mortus! Let's go!"

Genbu sacrificed all 64 of the swords in order to block the enormous cero. "Oh, your not going anywhere. Bakudo #9: Horin! Bakudo 63: Sajou Sabaku!" As Mortus came crashing through the wall, a golden cord wrapped around him, restraining him. Then, another, thicker and more segmented one wrapped his arms, preventing him from moving. He thought no time for an incantation now... and said "Hado 90: Kurohitsugi!" An enourmous, dark box of energy formed around Charles, and then black energy spears would pierce the box, puncturing Charles' body.

soon as mortus saw charles firing his cero, he began running back behind the wall, launched the bone mortars at genbu, while deactivating the dragon form, the mortars blocking sight of him, he quickly opened a garganta, and sonido'd inside to escape, yelling ''run!!!''

[Void, because you are trapped by the bakudo the moment you come out of the wall.]

The black box formed around Charles. "Hehehe...." His swept his arm, and smashed the box. "I'm stronger than that, Captain. Without using the incantation, this Kurohitsugi is reduced to only 1/3 of its strength. I can smash through it with ease, Captain of the 12th division." He would then sonido over to Mortus and drag him through the garganta.
