Walter was leaning against a wall, taking a quick smoke. When he saw Madame, he extinguished his cigarette and walked toward her. "Good afternoon, Madame. How goes the hunt? I need to report to his majesty about a battle I just witnessed yesterday."

Madame grinned. Here was her chance. "Natürlich können Sie tun! Allerdings wollen Sie nicht zum Mittagessen mit mir zuerst haben?" She spun around, twirling her umbrella.

Walter sighed. As it was, he knew that he had to decline her and find his king before it was too late. He was probably returning to Germany, so he opened a portal there, saying "Perhaps some other time, Madame. After all, duty calls."
